Good News & Miracles from Cambodia

Hey all, We have a lot of good news to share in this update, so let’s get into it.
Fire and Rain Seminar
This seminar is all about equipping people to share the Gospel.
We had over 100 attendees, and during their outreach day in a local Battambang village, they saw so many miracles. The nearly-blind see, and a lame man walk. That man put his faith in Jesus and got baptized right on the spot! You can see the video for it on Facebook >here<. If it doesn’t work let us know and we’ll make it work. More good things also happened during this time.

Baptisms
Our church usually does baptisms once or twice a year for new believers. This year, we combined it with Easter’s celebration, and it was a joy to see 43 people get baptized. Praise God!

Liam's Lungs Clear!
Back in October, just three weeks after our youngest, Liam, was born, he got seriously sick with pneumonia and was hospitalized for three weeks. It was really serious, and even after he came home, he needed follow-up appointments. We’re so incredibly grateful to share that in April, his lungs were completely clear! Thank you for all your prayers.

Teaching Learning Styles with Titus
Pheap had the privilege of teaching in our Titus Project, where we help Bible students become Bible teachers. She taught nine students, all Cambodian but one, about different learning styles, multiple intelligences, and how our brains work, so they can teach more holistically.
The teachers came back from their outreach and here’s the report:
- 6 Mission Locations
- 14 churches
- 673 Participants
- 37 New Believers

Den's Going to Grade One!
Den has finished kindergarten and is getting ready for grade one! His Khmer speaking skills have grown so much. This past year has been tough for our family with grief and transitions, and now with another little brother getting lots of Mama’s attention, it’s a challenge to help him navigate it all.

Testimony from DTS
During a Discipleship Training School (DTS) Outreach, one team went to Siem Reap to hold a mini-DTS. They ministered to kids, teaching them about Jesus and evangelism. One day, while demonstrating evangelism with a group of kids, they met a woman who could not see colours. Michael prayed for her, and she was healed! She could see colours! We wish we could share all the amazing stories.

Training for children at risk staff.
A good friend of ours led a short, excellent training on Trust-Based Relational Intervention (TBRI) for our staff working with children at risk. This method helps caregivers connect with kids and regulate emotions. Pheap translated, and Pat handled the tech, and it was a privilege to help bring such valuable training to equip our missionaries to serve even better.

NET/LG Meeting
Three times a year, we gather YWAM key leaders from all over Cambodia to connect, grow, and bless one another. As part of the National Eldership Team, Pheap helps organize and facilitate these important meetings.

upcoming Travel
Master’s intensive module 5 (in just a a couple of days): This will be the last module before the graduation in Kona, and this will be either in Central Asia or Papua New Guinea. Either way, we will need approximately $3,400
Master’s program graduation (August): This is the last trip for the whole master’s program, and it’s an exciting one as we will hear the candidates’ thesis defense. This will be around $5,000 again.
Please reach out to us if you want to give or you can tap here to find ways to give.
Prayer requests
- Wisdom as we parent our two amazing boys.
- Financial Support: We currently only have 23% of our monthly financial needs met, so we’re praying for more regular support.
- Papua New Guinea Trip: We need to go to Papua New Guinea on June 13th to facilitate a master’s program. We still need $3,400 for flights, food, and accommodation.
God is at work in so many amazing ways, from healing eyes to equipping new teachers. We’re blessed to be a part of it, and we couldn’t do any of this without you! Thanks for standing with us and faithfully investing in the lives being transformed here. We’re thankful for your prayers and support.
Take Care,
Pat & Pheap.
